Ireland Adventure | Day 5

Today’s day was a day of exploration and catch up. We had been go-go-go for days now and we were starting to feel the effects. The weather finally caught up with us too. The day was rainy and chilly…actually much like it was for us the last time we visited Dingle a few years prior.

The one huge downside to the house we were staying in, was that it had no dryer. This was a very very bad thing, especially for us. It had promised a dryer and washer, so we packed accordingly, which meant we did not pack for more than 5 days in a row. By day 5, we were out of most clothes and needed to do a huge wash. Well, clothes were washed, but they would not dry. We had to hang dry them, but it was the dampest of damp weather and so they hung outside when sunny and inside when not, and they hung forever. 3 days later and they were still not dry. Brrrr, I still feel that chill. So we were all a little grumpy day 5 LOL.

Anyways, we needed to get out and do something, even on a low key laundry day. We visited the aquarium and toured the streets. W loved the fish and especially the penguins. It was a short day. It was a nice nothing day that was much needed almost halfway through our trip. Tomorrows post is a big day, so stay tuned ;).
