As a passionate lifestyle photographer with a deep love of capturing the precious moments in life, I truly understands the beauty of motherhood. Not only do I live for the tiny details and capturing authentic emotions, but I also draw inspiration from being a devoted mom to my three beautiful children.


Being a mother has ignited my passion for photographing newborns. Welcoming my third child into the world just a few months ago has deepened my understanding of the immense love, joy, and vulnerability that accompanies the journey of motherhood.


I approach my newborn sessions with a gentle touch, calming presence, and patience, I aim to capture the raw emotions and quiet moments that make each newborn so unique. I hope that you will invite me into your lives to capture the everyday moments your growing family, creating timeless & heartfelt images that embody the love, connection, and beautiful chaos of life.


In addition to providing you with a beautiful gallery, I am committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for both the newborn and you during our time together.

  • natural posing

    Don’t worry about being nervous! I guide you and keep you relaxed as we go! I provide natural posing and let the magic unfold. For newborns, I do some swaddling, but let the baby guide me as well and use only natural posing and the baby’s own weight.

  • emotionally driven

    Whether you want a session just for yourself & baby, for the baby only or for your family, I aim to capture the love you have for your growing family.

  • all-inclusive

    These sessions include all of the images that I cull and edit, typically a minimum of 70 digital images (30 for the minis). Your gallery will be live for a year and fully downloadable, which includes printing rights.

  • Family Maternity

    This family session revolves around the upcoming arrival of your new addition. We allow for extra time (compared to a maternity mini) to get siblings involved in the session and bring in more play! I capture all of the excitement and joy surrounding your upcoming addition. We do a few posed pictures for “the grandparents” and then aim to capture everyones unique relationships and personalities.

    *Travel to Pictou County, Truro and Antigonish areas are included. I do travel across the maritimes date depending and may require an additional fee.

    $400 plus HST

  • Mini Maternity

    This 30 minute session is best suited for a solo maternity session or you and your partner. I will capture the love you have for your soon to be sweet babe.

    *Mini maternity sessions are for Pictou County only. Please follow the newsletter for upcoming minis and short sessions since I do have travel dates throughout the year!

    $300 plus HST

  • Newborn

    This session is truly going to capture your newest addition and the bond you have with them. There are no backdrops or props typically, just baby, some swaddling and relaxed posing using the baby’s own weight. I also highly encourage parents and siblings (if applicable) to be involved so that we can still get lots of cuddly images of the baby in their favourite spot - your arms.

    Sessions can take place in my lifestyle studio, in your home or even outdoors if the weather is just perfect!

    *For newborn sessions outside of the studio, travel to Pictou County, Truro and Antigonish areas are included. I do travel across the maritimes date depending and may require an additional fee.

    $400 plus HST

  • Fresh 48

    In this session, I come to the hospital within 48 hours of your baby’s arrival and capture an hour of you and your new arrival in the hospital. Truly my personal favourite, for my time in the hospital with my babies was so fleeting but probably my most favourite moments ever.

    *Hospitals must be in the Pictou County, Antigonish and Truro areas.

    $350 plus HST

  • Studio Mini Newborn

    Perfect if you’re not feeling up for being in the images but want to capture your babe at this age while they are still a newborn. You come to my lifestyle studio in Trenton, NS, (in your pjs if you wish lol!) and I take care of the rest. I will make sure to capture all of the tiny details of your new arrival. I use natural posing and a natural setting using in house swaddles and neutrals cozy outfits (or you can bring your own).

    *Sessions take place in my lifestyle studio in Trenton, NS.

    $300 plus HST

preparation and location

Once we have booked a time and date, we can start planning!

For maternity sessions, the best time I have found on capturing the bump is between 30-34 weeks pregnant, however, this is not mandatory! For newborns, I recommend booking our session 3 weeks from your due date because my absolute favourite time is between 3-5 weeks of age when baby is figuring out life outside of the womb, mom and baby have gotten to know each other better and mom has been able to heal a little bit.

Now for location! Start thinking about what kind of a feel you’d like for your session. Do you want me to capture you as a new family in the comfort of your own home? or at you parents place? Or how about at your favourite park (weather depending). Or do you just want me to take care of the setting and come to my neutral lifestyle studio where I take care of everything for the ultimate non-stressful session?

Once the location is planned, I will send you styling help and a guide and a questionnaire to help me get to know you better. Once the big day arrives, we will be all ready to capture your little. For a newborn session, even though we have our session date in the schedule, please reach out just in case we need to adjust our date based on the baby’s arrival date.

For studio and on-location/In-home sessions, I make sure to have lots of swaddles and neutral cozy clothing on hand! You can of course provide your own.

the studio

Located in Trenton, NS, the studio is the perfect spot for a stress free neutral session. No need to worry about mess, the studio is all ready for you and your little! I also provide a bunch of swaddle choices and neutral outfits for your little (plus I keep some bonnets and bows on hand as well). I make sure all of the colours are cohesive and that mom and/or baby has a stress-free and calm session.

*the studio is best suited for mini maternity sessions & newborn sessions. Mini newborn sessions must take place in the studio.

When should I book my session?

I highly recommend booking your maternity session between 30&34 weeks and your newborn session 3 weeks after your due date. If things change - babies love to throw curveballs! - it is easy for us to reschedule if needed once you are officially in my books.
