When I think about summer, I think about the beach and boats. These were the two things that remind me of my childhood. We were so fortunate, my brother and I, to be able to have been given these opportunities. Summers learning to sail on Georgian bay, running around the beach with sand between our toes, throwing each other over jet skis and dingys and the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen. My childhood wasn’t rainbows and gumdrops, but these moments were.
