We couldn’t ask for a better day. Perfect temperature, perfect atmosphere. This wedding was perfect in every sense.
From the moment Caitlyn called me from Ontario for the first time, I knew we would all have so much fun working together. And from that first call, I also could tell that her love for Justin was something so special and rare. She wanted to do their engagement session where they first met, probably somewhere not really typical for an engagement session; a gas station (You can see this session here). A memorable session to say the least and I knew their wedding would be even better.
When the day of the wedding arrived, I packed up and headed to Halifax. The day slowly turned into a beautifully sunny day, almost in anticipation for the big wedding. Shooting in a city setting, even though I’m from a big city, was something I was not used to. When I arrived, I immediately went to work. However, not for a second did it feel like work. I felt like I was a guest and that I had known the couple for ages. Their families were so open-armed and inviting that I could not help but feel welcomed. Everyone, including me, was tearing up and laughing throughout most of the day.
What else can I really say? The day was perfect.
